This weekend, our picturesque mountain village is host to another year of Ironman triathlete events!
This weekend is a two day event, with the sprint event, and the 5i50 relay event being held on Saturday, and the Ironman 70.3 being held on Sunday.

Referred to as the June triathlon festival, this two day event brings over 5000 athletes to Tremblant to enjoy our world class facilities and Ironman village at the base of Mont-Tremblant. This is a particularly accessible weekend as it allows for triathletes of all levels to come together – the three races are of gradual difficulty, the sprint being the shortest with a 750m swim, 20km bike, and 5k run – the 5i50 doubles those distances, and the 70.3 is half of a complete Ironman – that works out to a 2km swim, 90 km bike, and 22km run.

This event is not only for the athletes, though! The entire course and village is arranged so that families and friends can cheer on the participants. The event is also a well loved favourite of all Tremblant locals, since it brings everyone together with the opportunity to volunteer. There are activities around the area for the whole family, kids club, beach, golf, hiking, yoga, you name it!
Of course the community appreciates the influx of visitors, and it really is our first big summer event of the year, and a fabulous way to kick off the season in Tremblant.

Tremblant Living’s luxury chalet rentals offer a wonderful safe heaven for race participants and their families – plenty of room for gear, easily accessible to the course, and of course – a nice private hot tub to relax in afterwards. Participate in the festivities and then return to your own little piece of heaven to relax and restore – preparing for your next adventure!

Good luck to all of the amazing men and women involved in this weekend’s festivities!
