There is no better way to push your body to the limit than to do an Ironman. This incredible feat of athleticism is one of the most intense sporting activities that you can view or partake in, and if you want to do an Ironman where the course is spectacular and the scenery is unbeatable, there is no better option than the Mont-Tremblant Ironman.

This breathtaking triathlon consists of a 2.4-mile swim in Lac Tremblant, 112-mile challenging bike ride through the perfectly mapped out course, and 26.2-mile run (a marathon) along the Mont-Tremblant community and scenery. You can weave your way through the pedestrian village and gaze at all of the shopping areas, dining opportunities, eateries, vintage stores, lodging options, spas, and nearby hikes on the towering peaks.

Course Information

Are you or another person you know doing the Ironman? It is best to know all about it beforehand so you are super prepared! The swim is in the beautiful Lac Tremblant, so you don’t have to worry about waves or currents. The bike features a gently rolling course that doesn’t have too many intense climbs or steep downhills. And the run is on a rolling course that tests your legs just a little after the intense swim and bike! The race this year is held on August 20th, 2023, providing the perfect temperature for pushing your body to the limits and enjoying the race.

See Your Friends in Action

If you or a loved one is doing the race, you can use the tracking information to keep an eye on them as they tackle this intense course. You will have a chance to stick with your friends or family member as they glide through the course. Although you will be able to catch in-person glances of your loved ones during their swim, bike, or run, you can also use the Ironman Tracker mobile app to track your loved one through the App Store or Google Play. Plus, hang out at some of the designated spectator areas to cheer loudly and help with water distribution!

Trip Planning

If you come to Mont-Tremblant during the Ironman race, there is some additional planning involved. Whether you are a part of the race, or you just happen to be here during the same time frame, doing some extra logistical planning and scheduling can help you avoid road closures or big crowds. The Tourisme Mont-Tremblant, Surete du Quebec, and Transports Quebec are all working together to make sure visitors and spectators have the best time before, during, and after this event. The transportation authorities and community officials are working together to make sure you still have access to the mountain and surrounding environment during your trip here!

Ironman Tremblant Information Center

To get more information about this race and make sure you plan your trip accordingly, visiting the Mont-Tremblant Information Center is the best way to stay informed and avoid any last-minute changes. Check out Tourism Mont-Tremblant to look at the best training, weather, course updates, exercise options, unique swimming and biking destinations, and course map information.

This tourism website offers a course profile for the Ironman Mont-Tremblant and the Ironman 70.3 Mont-Tremblant. The Ironman running course starts runners near the lake and winds them through the neighborhoods along the Riviere Cachee. You will be able to get amazing views of the houses, lakes, and green spaces during your run. The swim portion of the full ironman starts by Les Laurentides and takes athletes on a circuit through the Lac Moore Le Village before exiting near Lac-Ouimet.

During the Ironman 70.3 run, athletes will start near the same point as the Ironman athletes by the Mont-Tremblant Resort and Tonga Lumina. They will then work their way through the La Petite Cachee river, Circuit Mont-Tremblant, Lac Desmarais, and turn around just after the golf course! The bike course also brings athletes through some of the most scenic areas of Mont-Tremblant. Athletes will start near the resort and wind through the Golf Le Maitre De Mont-Tremblant course, Domaine-de-la Clouterie, Montagne Verte, Labelle village, and the infamous Mont-Tremblant National Park.

There are other options for those who want to participate, but don’t want to do the full Ironman! You can have fun partaking in the Ironman 5i50 triathlon or the Demi Marathon Mont-Tremblant half-marathon. Any one of these sporting events is a great way to see all that this nature-centric area has to offer. We guarantee you will forget about your tired legs and pounding heartbeat as you see the beautiful scenery.

Plus, when you stay at one of our high-end homes, you can rest assured that you will relax and recover before and after your race. Reach out to book your stay in one of our luxury chalet rentals today!
